The 2008 season is here.

Due to the ever changing schedule and the fact that I will not have access to a computer while in Hatteras to change, maintain, and update the site. I will have some open trips, but you must call. Also I will give contact info for who already has the boat chartered if you would like to get on someone's trip. I will be able to answer emails until May but after that you must call 757-537-6524 or (757-488-8833 will only get a message to me)to see if there is space on an open trip or if you want to charter the boat. Please read this entire page it will answer most questions.

The Under Pressure will be in Hatteras, NC from May to the end of August and Va Beach from Sept to April.

Diving Charters out of VA Beach are based on location, call for pricing for whole boat charter.

Hatteras Diving Whole Boat Charter Prices:

Charter includes the boat ride to and from the dive site : Bring your own beverage and food.

• Recreational charter, depth 130ft or less, 6 divers max, two dives,
  Divers may bring two single tanks or one set of doubles and one pony or one stage bottle.
  boat departs 7am

• Technical charter, depth deeper than 130ft, 6 divers max
  Divers may bring two sets of doubles and 3 stage bottles.

• Recreational whole boat charter: $810
• On the weekend trips out of Va if we can only go one day because of weather etc. we will(doesn't matter which day)and the price will be adjusted. Only breakfast will be provided on these trips, bring your own food for lunch/dinner and drinks.
• Technical charter: Prices vary on the wreck and what you want to do. For pricing call 757-537-6524

Hatteras Diving Open Boat Prices:

Recreational trips:

$135 per person includes-

• Boat ride to and from the dive site
• The U701 is not counted as a recreational dive

Additional customer options:

Air fills or air tops available on the boat there is a compressor on the boat.

• AIR FILLS $5 per tank.... doubles $10
• AIR TOPS $6 per tank....doubles $12
• HP TANKS ADD $1 per tank

Must be a customer of Under Pressure, nitrox is NOT available

Technical Trip: open tech trips call.....

On all recreational open trips the location of the dive site will be discussed and determined the morning of the dive.I will allow a second dive on technical trips to a recreational depth if prior arrangements have been made. An additional fee will be charged for double doubles on all recreational trips.The Capt and crew will make every effort to reach the chosen destination when the boat is charterd an alternate site maybe chosen due to weather or some other uncontrollable circumstance. If a site is chosen by the charter and the Capt can foresee that it cannot be dived and the charter chooses to stay at the dock when an alternate site can be dived a $400 fee will be charged for sitting at the dock.

For technical dives with a depth greater than 160ft requires a check out dive if unfamiliar with the Capt., crew, & boat operation.***** Deep Air diving is not allowed. Diver is required to have certification/training for the depth he is diving.
