Mixing Kit Diagram & parts list

Material needed:

(2) converto tank checker (global)

(1) line/filler valve 1/4" fnpt inlet x 1/4" mnpt outlet

(1) 0 to 3000 psi gauge in 10 lb. increments or a digital gauge

(2) tee 1/4" fnpt SS extra heavy

(1) each 02 & He tank nipple & nut with 1/4" npt

(1) 6ft Long 1/4" I.D.hose with 1/4"mnpt on each end SS / hose must be suitable for oxygen and rated to 4500psi

(7) Aeroquip 5602-4-4S with 1/4" fnpt

(6) Aeroquip FD56-SERIES-4 with 1/4" fnpt

(7) 1/4" male hex nipples SS extra heavy

The Aeroquip are the quick disconnects and are plated steel with standard orings and must be 02 cleaned. They are also "checked" so be sure to bleed everything down before breaking the gauges off or they will hold pressure, if you want SS with viton orings you need (7) Swagelok SS-QF4-S-4PF & (6) Swagelok SS-QF4-B-4PF with 1/4" fnpt. Everything must be 02 cleaned & any lubricants or tread sealant that are used must be safe to use with oxygen. This is what I have made for me to use and should be used as only a guide .

KEY DESCRIPTION
1 Remove the gauges from the 2 Converto tank checkers & add a Aeroquip 5602-4-4S to the gauges.
2 Add a hex nipple in the end of each converto tank checker.
3 Add a hex nipple & a Aeroquip FD56-Series-4 to the inlet end of the line/filler valve & a Aeroquip FD56-Series-4 to one of the converto tank checkers.
4 Connect the line/filler vale outlet end to a 1/4" SS tee, them add a hex nipple & Aeroquip FD56-Series-4 to the bull of the tee.
5 Then connect the remaining end of the tee to the hex nipple on one of the converto tank checkers.
6 Add a Aeroquip 5602-4-4S to each end of the hose.
7 Add a Aeroquip 5602-4-4S to the He tank connector
8 Add a Aeroquip 5602-4-4S to the 02 tank connector
9 Add a hex nipple to all 3 connections on the last 1/4"SS Tee & then add a Aeroquip FD56-Series-4 to the hex nipple.
10 Add a Aeroquip 5602-4-4S to the remaining gauge (digital or gauge in 10 lb. increments) .
