The photos below are from our VBtech meeting on scooters, the Gavin, Silent Submersion, and Apollo/Dacor were compared.

This is an Apollo, the Dacor is just like it..

WE even had pretty divers like Kim show up.
The SS is all black. The inside of the scooter built by Rick using Apollo parts.
The SS uses a right thread allen screw to hold the clutch on. The home made scooter nicknamed the "Frankenstein".

The Apollo uses a left handed screw to hold the S Steel clutch on. The Wreck Gavin comes with a plastic clutch and is held on with a right thread screw.
Gavin, SS, and Apollo L to R. The SS has a clear cover over the ENG compartment so you can easily see for any water ect.....
Another view of the cover and the motorcycle type handle. The battery on the SS is fixed to the eng housing with latches.

My personal comparison of the 3 scooters:

Depth- Gavin and SS 500ft + -Apollo 220ft

Clutch- Gavin is cheap....SS is better....Apollo has the best

Triggers- Gavin is good but fragile.... SS, I do not like the motorcycle handle, but it is solid.....Apollo is plastic that often will break

Speed- all three are very fast and are only as fast as the diver is streamlined.

Battery- Gavin uses the body to hold the battery in place and the top to keep it from sliding around....SS uses latches to hold it in place....Apollo uses the body

You only need to remove the top to unplug the battery. The
